New Mexico:
Nancy Mariette aka Sin Aesthetik: This is will be my third Convergence. I was also at C12 and C13. I tried to make C11, but I was flat broke. :) I'm a burlesque performer, costume designer, make-up artist, graphic artist, panty slinger, sex-life helper and giant goof ball. My latest passion is circus, and I've just finished a six week intensive course on that subject. The course included stilting, aerials, acrobatics and clowning. I fell in love and am still studying trapeze, fabric, and acrobatics. I've been a performer in one sense or another for most of my life. Currently, I'm performing, choreographing and make-up/costume designing with Burlesque Noir here in Albuquerque. I also work part time in a local lingerie store/adult toy shop, do face painting and henna art at private parties and large scale events, and intern with Clear Channel Outdoor (yes, the evil empire) doing graphic design. Texas
moses: Let's see...we're on 14 and I missed 1 and 7, so I guess this will be my 12th (and possibly last) Convergence. I have high hopes for it being nearly as much fun as my first. When not Converging, I've spent the majority of those years working at NASA. And when not working at work, I tend to work on my house and goof off on LiveJournal (lil-m-moses). I've been single, engaged, married, and cycled back to single in that timeframe. It's been a long, strange trip, but I've had a lot of good company along for the ride.
No Photo Paul Riddell: A goth back when the name still referred to Germanic invaders, Paul Riddell currently heads the Texas Triffid Ranch, a nursery for carnivorous, prehistoric, and other exotic plants. This is the first Convergence for both him and his wife, the head of Tawanda Jewelry (and one of the dealers at this year's show), but it won't be the last if rumors of a Dallas Convergence in 2009 are accurate.
