27 attendees from down South [out of 87]

Alabama:

dave Pittman aka Dave: Musician, Sound-type-person, wore black long before black was cool. Oldschool. Emphasis on "old" Send Email.

Florida:

Bob Westphal aka TheOneBob: You may know me from GothCruise, C7, C9 or my old radio show, The Shape of Things to Come. I am in co-charge of this year's shenanigans. Just so there is no mistake, this is the year Convergence will jump the shark. Send Email.
Rafe aka etcet: Your co-host for this year's festivities, Rafe has been enabling debauchery for... wow, let's not think about how long.
Nelson aka Vorpal- christfucked: Born and raised in Florida but the heat still irritates me, so no pvc during the day for c14 :) . Living in Orlando currently so I'll be driving to C* this year weird. "I'll finish this shit, this month, day 10." Send Email.
No Photo Rick aka Xandraius: Already living here in Tampa. Drop me a line for things to do/ places to eat/ etc Send Email.
Patty aka moth2theflame, casadillama, pepper: I'm a Information Dominatrix (librarian) living with 4 cats and varying numbers of tropical fish. I enjoy gardening, dancing, cooking, kayaking, outdoor activities, getting tattooed/pierced, and wearing silly pajama pants. This will be my first Convergence and I'm looking forward to seeing my freaky friends from around the country. Send Email.
Rob aka Xany: Wow. It's been a while since I've been to a C*. I'm much more of a metalhead than a goth, yet somehow that doesn't seem to stop me from being let into these things. I'm a former Bostonian and attended C2 and C4 since they were relatively close by at the time. I've since moved down to sunny Florida and kinda inadvertantly ended up instigating at least part of this crazy shark-jumping shindig. I'm looking forward to seeing some old faces and meeting even more new ones.
Nicole MacArthur aka Kungfugimp: This will be my second convergence and I'm very excited about meeting up with old friends and new. This year Ken and I will be vending. I may be a bit quiet at times, but get me near friends (and some booze) and it's all good.
Chris and Janene aka Dilvesh/Bareflix and Alabaster: We've been to Convergence V in New Orleans, Convergence X in Chicago and Convergence XII in New Orleans. We've also been on Goth Cruise 1 - 4, so if you've seen us around, be sure to say hi! Send Email.
Ragdoll: This would be my 3rd Convergence 2 in NOLA and one now here in my hometown area of Tampa Bay! Currently, I work as a private brand apparel designer for a Florida based department store chain, designing for Junior and Young Men catagories. You know, the fun and trendy stuff. I have 8 clothing designs in the fashion show from my personal couture collections. When are they updating the fashion show page and adding bios? It would be great to see who else is going to be presenting that night. Send Email.
Theresa Chen aka Bing: First time attendee, friends with one of the designer, believes that were-pandas will take over the world and feast on the flesh of the living.
Miss AurorA NatriX: This is my first Convergence. I'm a bartending-fetish-&- pin-up modelling-go-go-dancing- burlesque performer...in short...heh. I also design and create my own costumes and corsets, and am obsessed with sushi. Look for me Friday night when I walk in the Peacock Blue fashion show at C14. See you then!
November: This will be my 7th convergence, I've also been on a couple of the gothcruises. I'm a recent Tampa resident, having moved here about a year ago, and am looking forward to having it in my current hometown.

Dawn kaye aka lady raven: well, I'm a gothic -industrial fan and person so everyone calls me. I love fetish fashion and fetish toys, the color black, esp in clothes, love leather and lace and silver jewelry, esp celtic. I have and love tattoos, and am vending this yr too! My partner owns leathrworks and we are from Florida so I'll be there most all the time in Gothic marketplace. I have one cat, lovecats and work a professional day job./ No photo yet so fiery red hair describes me and personality with black fingernails. This is my 1st convergence and really looking forward to networking and meeting new people and making new friends. Catch me in the marketplace at my other job.
Blessings to you,
lady raven

Cat W. Camp aka Lady Cat: First Convergence; looking forward to the music! Can't wait to see the fashion show & see what the designers have come up with now. I'm a local, a professional artist & librarian at a local university. I prefer B&B (Benedictine & Brandy) or Frangelica to Gin, wine to beer, Rum to Tequila. My hair is probably longer than yours. I swim quite like an aardvark. I have more books than brain cells. I make a mean chicken curry with Major Grey's Chutney on the side. I have 3 full-sized, standing suits of plate armor in my home; the other one lives in disgrace in the attic. My bats are not in my belfry. Can I hug you after a few drinks? Can I get you naked & paint on your body? Send Email.

Georgia:

Jeff aka Panurge: Don't really belong anywhere scene-wise, but erithromycin once told me that I was, after all, a Goth--I just got here by a completely different route than the one everyone else took. I guess I can accept that. Always looking for musicians to do Thorny, Tough, And Uncompromising music that's still suitable for Goth tastes. Send Email.
Andrew Stallings aka The Exiled, V.2.0: Crap. I hate these things. I was at C4. I've been off/on alt.gothic for a significant amount of time. My hobbies are of the gamer variety. I've also been on 3 of the 4 GothCruises. What am I looking forward to? Engaging in some de-stressing, more or less. And seeing people. Especially the later. Send Email.

Kentucky:

No Photo timly: part-time denizen of alt.gothic (spotty news feed). musician. father. he's just this guy, you know? keyboardist for The Passing Hour who are playing at C14! be sure to catch us.

Louisiana:

Gwen aka victorine: This will be my 4th Convergence! I'll be in the vendor room on Sat/Sun with my man at our Sigh Co. Graphics booth. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones, so don't be shy!
Lisa Andresen aka Jaenanda: In October 2006 I moved from Los Angeles, CA to New Orleans, LA, to be a part of the rebuilding process, and I never left. I have previously attended C9, C12, and C13. Send Email.
Frank Schmidt aka Dr. Frank N. Furter (A Scientist): Wearing the bat-shaped "Beauty Of Poison" single in his trousers, he sits amidst the burnt-out stumps of black candles in a room lit only by burning hair extensions, smashing goggles with a hammer and sometimes stopping to gaze at his reflection in his black, black fingernails. Now and then he puts on a pair of headphones, connected to nothing, and hums an off-key tune. He was there, you know. He was there for it when it was good.
Kurt Amacker: New Orleans native and DJ at the best Goth night on the Gulf Coast, Shadow Gallery. Writer of Seraphemeras' newest comic book, Dead Souls. Send Email.
Brian Callahan aka w0rl0ck: This will be my sixth Convergence! I'm an old fart of a gothic rocker, who prefers Fields of the Nephilim to this new-fangled electro stuff. Raised by desert winds in the arid wastes of San Diego's East County, I later earned a Literature degree in the northern climes of Santa Cruz, California. Left-handedness garnered me universal loathing, a passion for writing, and a career in design, from publishing to the Web to pure graphic design, while a knack for computers has derailed my creativity time and again, leading to the thankless jobs of code-churning and middle management (shudder) at various dotcom hell holes. The least hellish, MP3.com, inspired an important life lesson: "Work for yourself!" On that note, I now live in New Orleans and own Sigh Co. Graphics, specializing in Gothic and Occult T-shirts, and risqué stuff for the ladies. But, the job is still thankless and the boss is a real dick.

North Carolina:

Cat: I've been to a handful of Convergences in the past, often hanging out in the vending room at my now-defunct Graveyard Fashions (gothic home decor) booth. My goth points come from being a long-standing (though quiet) member of alt.gothic and CorpGoth, writing home decor tips for Gothic Beauty, helping start up the Eccentrik festival, and running Cirque Macabre (a Spring festival in Raleigh, NC). I'm very excited about this year! :) Send Email.
Kambriel: I've been attending and participating in various Convergii since C2 in Boston all those years ago :) This year, I'm looking forward to making my first trip to Florida, and plan to wear lots of *cotton*. I got word recently that we'll have to do an unexpected move soon, so it looked like we may not have been able to make it this year, but I'm bound and determined to make it happen! To match the mood of C14, I've got a -FUN- fashion show planned, so be sure to catch it Friday night. Also, we'll be in the vendors room so please come and see what we'll have on hand... maybe you'll find a new treasure and can help us lighten our moving load at the same time :) Feel free to email ahead if there's anything in particular you'd like us to bring, and I'll look forward to seeing you all soon!

Washington DC:

Wendi aka Recent: baobh Old: Artemis: After buggering off for the last few, I'm finally making it back to a Convergence. Previous appearances include c5, c6, c7, c9 and c10. Shiny new husband will be in tow for this one, so at least I've got a little fresh meat for you lot.
