	Sean denovan ottawa - just 2 hours away! i know this is not a very goffy pic of me, but it is the most recent photo... gotta love my 'evil duck' snowboard, non? i'm so happy to finally see a Convergence in Montreal - the city so richly deserves it because it literally reeks of good old fashioned gothy goodness. ask me nicely, and i may show you the pics i took of the really cool mausoleums, replete with visible corpses, at Mont Royale cememtary, or better yet, go see them for yourselves when you visit. i go there frequently, and i'll be jumping on the C8 support bandwagon soon, so drop me a line if there's anything you want to know about Montreal. My first convergence was C4, since having it in my home town made it almost mandatory. I had an absolute BLAST at C5 (anyone remember my wolf-head mask?). Thanks to Y2K and changing jobs I missed C6, and was hiding when C7 came along. SO I'm really looking forward to this one! 	Monica Lange Kore, mL, that chick in saran wrap Windsor-Detroit (Ontario) Originally from Detroit, I've migrated across the border to live with my newlywed husband (who may make Montreal his first Convergence). I'm a photographer/writer who currently sells her bouncing soul as a banker to pay the bills. My photographs have been shown in the art shows at C5 and C6. My zine, Strange Emulsions, was recently reviewed in Broken Pencil magazine and will be available at the zine fair (with a few more issues, I hope!). Unfortunatly, many of you who attended previous convergences will more than likely forget all that and only recall me from C6, on Sunday night, wearing nothing but saran wrap... I suppose there are worse things.

	Dan Black DJ Human Clone Toronto By all accounts Convergence VIII looks like it is going to be a fantastic event. I am Dan (DJ Human Clone) and along with DJ Todd, we will be your DJs on Saturday night. I am apologizing in advance, I have a poor understanding of the French language. If anyone addresses me in French, I will probably just blankly stare at you and nod. Not to worry I am sure we can comunicate in other ways (hand signals, crude renderings, etc.). I love all things french; french toast, french fries, french onion soup :). Montreal is a beautiful city with a great deal of culture, I am really looking forward to my visit.
