Laura aka spacekadt: After 7 convergences, I think most of you know me. This year, you'll likely find me by looking for the storm trooper arm. Lin (Grafixbunny): Graphic designer by trade, I tap into my real creative side by making masks. This will be my third Convergence. My first was C5 in NOLA where I vended masks, and the last was C13 in Portland where Bob and I had a really GREAT time. I'm vending masks at C15 -- and hope to have my website or an Etsy store up soon so you can get a glimpse of what to expect. I have a degree in painting and enjoy being a massage therapist, playing cello, riding my bike, meditating, practicing yoga and being completely obsessed with tea.
Cedric Justice aka thedr9wningman: Lead singer for theXplodingboys, possibly the oldest Cure Tribute band in the world. Avid anachronist and cyclist and Portlander. My, how time flies, and I love that we've come pretty much full circle to buying out the hotel and keeping the event small and social. I live in Houston, where I work at NASA. Carrie Carolin: I haven't been to too many Convergences, sadly! I missed several (San Diego, Ybor City) due to my shopaholism and spending money on other things! I enjoyed New Orleans, Vegas, Seattle, and Portland very much. Very excited for Long Beach, seeing old friends again and making new ones!
Lisa and Kevin aka Ice Princess and Morthael: We're mostly here for the setting (okay, and for seeing some of the best people on earth). Lisa was a regular on alt.gothic.fashion back in the day and currently mods the LJ gothfash community; this is her third Convergence (following 6 and 13). Kevin is too young for Usenet, but was a babybat from the start and has been active in local goth communities in Florida, Washington, and Germany; this is his second Convergence (following 13). We are the gothic Nick and Nora Charles--expect us to wear fabulous clothes, be sickeningly adorable together, quip nonstop, and drink a lot.
